When I moved to Scotland with my family in the summer of 2012, I adopted my grandmother’s surname as my artistic name. She passed away a few days after we arrived in the United Kingdom. It was a new beginning in a new land where nobody knew me, so this was my homage to Ines María De la O.
Finding a band looking for a guitarist was difficult, as bands here work differently. It was when I read a post from Martin Patterson on Gumtree. He was looking for musicians to tribute to the life and work of Ronnie James Dio, who sadly passed in 2010 due to Cancer.
